Riksbyggen chooses Assemblin Charge as framework agreement supplier for electric car charging

Assemblin Charge has signed a nationwide agreement with Riksbyggen for the operation and installation of charging stations as well as for billing management for electric car charging. The agreement covers a three-year period, with the possibility of a one-year extension. To date, about 660 charging points distributed between 65 facilities have been connected to Assemblin Charge and efforts continue to assist more housing associations within Riksbyggen.

Assemblin Charge is now Riksbyggen’s official partner for the operation of existing charging stations, billing for charging services, as well as for the installation and operation of new charging stations in Riksbyggen’s property portfolio. The work will be conducted in partnership with Riksbyggen’s property management customers, among whom there are currently about 2,500 charging stations throughout Sweden.

“We are proud that Riksbyggen has chosen us as its partner for charging solutions. This is a major transaction for us and serves as a seal of quality for the functionality and user-friendliness of our service,” says Fredrik Allthin, EVP and Head of Division Sweden at Assemblin Caverion Group.

Part of the agreement entails Riksbyggen having selected Assemblin Charge’s fleet service, entailing all of the chargers at all Riksbyggen offices being connected to Assemblin Charge’s service for electric car charging. The service entails employees being able to charge their vehicles easily and Riksbyggen being able to manage the costs for this in a straightforward manner.

The charging service will be connected to Riksbyggen’s existing charging stations while the agreement also involves new installation as well as ensuring that optimal operation of all chargers in Riksbyggen’s property portfolio.

“Sustainability is a very important part of our strategy. Through our collaboration with Assemblin Charge, we ensure that our properties and associations have a modern and efficient charging infrastructure, both today and in the future, enabling each association to easily follow up on its usage,” says Rasmus Widlund, who is responsible for Energy and Operations at Riksbyggen.
